Genshin Impact 3.1 update will debut six new weapons that Travelers can chart a course along the Epitomized Path to acquire them. While new artifacts may not be included in the update, Travelers can obtain one of the weapons from an upcoming event.
The recent 3.1 Special Program Livestream confirmed a few leaks regarding weapons to be included in the upcoming update. We'll look at all the new weapons featured and how Travelers can likely get them in the Genshin Impact 3.1 update.
All Genshin Impact 3.1 Weapons Announced
The 3.1 Special Program Livestream announced five more weapons added to the game, with one additional weapon being offered as a reward from an upcoming event.
While the developer hasn't announced if more Artifacts are arriving in the Genshin Impact version 3.1 update, Travelers can expect two 5-star weapons, which will likely appear in the update's Epitome Invocation (weapon) banners.
Two new weapons, the 5-star sword Key of Khaj-Nisut and the 5-star polearm, Staff of the Scarlet Sands, are coming to Genshin Impact. These 5-star weapons are likely to feature on the Epitome Invocation banners, which dates have yet to be confirmed.
- Genshin Impact 3.1 Banner Schedule – Candace, Cyno & Nilou
- Genshin Impact Fayz Trials Event – Capture Weaknesses To Earn Rewards
- Genshin Impact Nilou – Release Date, Skills, Constellations
- Genshin Impact – All Vasmrti Locations In Sumeru
The Staff of the Scarlet Sands is poised at being the signature weapon for the upcoming 5-star Electro character, Cyno, as previous leaks reveal that Cyno is likely to be the game's next DPS character given the weapon's CRIT Rate stat.
Additionally, the other 5-star weapon, Key of Khaj-Nisut, would be best utilized by another new playable character, Nilou, or on characters that scale off Elemental Mastery.
HoYoverse will add three other weapons to Genshin Impact; however, no confirmation as to whether they'll feature on the Epitome Invocation banners.
Likewise, these 4-star weapons being introduced should provide Travelers with alternate options if they cannot pull one of the 5-star weapons from their respective banners.
These 4-star weapons arriving alongside the Key of Khaj-Nisut and Staff of the Scarlet Sands are as follows:
- 4-star Makhaira Aquamarine (claymore)
- 4-star Wandering Evenstar (catalyst)
- 4-star Xiphos' Moonlight (sword)
Lastly, one more weapon, the 4-star polearm Missive Windspear will also join Genshin Impact 3.1; however, it won't be appearing in the Epitome Invocation banners. Instead, this weapon will be given as a reward from the upcoming event, Of Ballads and Brews, which sees Travelers heading to Mondstadt for the Weinlesefest.
In addition to the weapon given out as a reward upon completing the event's game modes and their respective challenges, Travelers can earn another weapon-related bonus: the weapon's refinement material, Plume of the Changing Wind, from the event used to enhance the 4-star polearm.
The Genshin Impact version 3.1 update, King Deshret, and the Three Magi will launch for PlayStation consoles, Microsoft Windows PC, and mobile devices on 28th September 2022.
Pre-installation dates have yet to be announced for Travelers to pre-install the update ahead of time.
