From new Domain experiences and Mondstadt's Autumn Festival coming soon to the game, these events will present new gameplay mechanics, exciting stories, and reuniting with familiar faces. We've detailed all the events Travelers can look forward to upon arriving in Sumeru and beyond in the Genshin Impact 3.1 update.
All Genshin Impact 3.1 Events Announced
Continuing to expand on the beautiful and lush world of the Sumeru region, there are plenty of new events and more opportunities to earn incredible rewards in Genshin Impact 3.1. This update will also see Travelers make a brief visit to Mondstadt and marks the return of a popular combat event.
Below, we have a quick preview of the events announced during the 3.1 Special Program Livestream arriving in Genshin Impact:
Of Ballads and Brews
Taking a break from the activities in and around Sumeru, Mondstadt's Adventurers' Guild has received plenty of requests from its residents, prompting calls for assistance. Perfect timing as they've just arrived in town as they'll help out the guild around Mondstadt in the flagship event, Of Ballads and Brews.
As part of Mondstadt's Weinlesefest, the seasonal festival revolves around the art of winemaking, as the Anemo Archon will get to sample the local wines produced. For this event, connected to Razor's backstory, Travelers will be participating in four game modes in which they'll need to complete each mode's quests while adhering to their requirements.
From aiding hunters out in the wild to running a shop featuring items required for winemaking, Travelers must utilize various gameplay mechanics to complete and earn rewards. These include Primogems, Mora, the 4-star polearm, Missive Windspear, and its weapon refinement material, Plume of the Changing Wind.
Wind Chaser
Across these adventures, Travelers will encounter a fellow adventurer who has discovered a rather peculiar Domain that could be worth exploring. In Wind Chaser, Travelers will be utilizing mechanics involving wind currents which they'll need to activate or deactivate devices or change direction to reach various platforms.

This requires strategy as Travelers will encounter obstacles that need to be destroyed and complete the Domain's objectives while collecting Windcoins. This Domain can also be completed with a friend so invite them to join and collect Windcoins in this unique Domain experience.
Star-Seeker's Sojourn
This open-world exploration event presents a more relaxing and casual experience when venturing into Sumeru. In addition, Travelers receive a special event-exclusive gadget that they must use to assist a young villager in pursuit of Future Stars.
Following a trail, once Travelers closely approach their objective, the gadget will alert and provide a more accurate direction, leading to a search area. After successfully following the trail, the Future Star will reveal itself to them by solving a puzzle in which they can claim the event's rewards upon completion.
Hyakunin Ikki
For those looking to finesse their combat skills or seek out a challenge, the Hyakunin Ikki event presents the ideal situation for brave fighters. First introduced in the Genshin Impact 2.1 update, this event hosts a free-for-all fighting competition in an unknown fighting hall in Inazuma City.
Like previous iterations, Travelers must complete the event's challenges by defeating their opponents in tag-team competition and scoring points within a time limit. Reach the challenge's high score to obtain the event's rewards, including Primogems, Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ores, and more.
Additionally, Genshin Impact 3.1 sees two new Archon Quests to expand Sumeru's backstory that the developers first introduced in the version 3.0 update. Furthermore, Cyno and Nilou, the update's new playable characters, will receive new Story Quests in which they can learn more about these dazzling characters.
