Genshin Impact 2.3 Phase II events: Free Primogems, Hero's Wit, and more

Genshin Impact 2.3 Phase I ends on 14th December, and with that, we will be entering Phase II that will introduce Gorou and Itto into the game along with a bunch of new events. 

miHoYo has revealed the complete details of all the new events coming to Genshin Impact 2.3 Phase II, along with the rewards you will be getting by participating in them. 

Genshin Impact 2.3 Phase II events

Here is the list of the events coming to Genshin Impact 2.3 Phase II:

Oni's Royale event wish

• Duration: 14th December (18:00) to 4th January (14:59)

During this event, you will be able to grab the latest playable characters, Arataki Itto and Gorou, along with Barbara and Xiangling. All of the characters will have a boosted drop rate, and you can wish by spending Primogems.  

However, if you don't want to wish for them, you can test them in the "Test Run" trial event to earn rewards by beating the opponents.

Epitome Invocation event wish

• Duration: 14th December (18:00) to 4th January (14:59)

The event will feature the event-exclusive 5-star weapon Redhorn Stonethresher (Claymore), 5-star weapon Skyward Harp (Bow), event-exclusive 4-star weapons The Alley Flash (Sword), Mitternachts Waltz (Bow) as well as 4-star weapons The Bell (Claymore), Favonius Lance (Polearm), and Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst). 

All of these will have a boosted drop rate, and just like the character event wish, you will have to wish for these weapons by spending Primogems. 

Taurus Iracundus Chapter quest

• Duration: Permanently available after14th December (18:00)

It will be the Arataki Itto's story quest, and you will need to use a Story Key to unlock it. In addition to this, you need to have Adventure Rank 40 or above and complete the Archon Quest "Chapter II: Act Il Omnipresence Over Mortals" and Dracaena Somnolenta Chapter: Act I - "Warriors' Dreams Like Spring Grass Renewing" in order to be eligible for starting Taurus Iracundus Chapter quest.

Misty Dungeon: Realm of Light event

• Duration: 17th December (10:00) to 27th January (03:59)

In Mission Dungeon: Realm of Light event, you will have to assemble a team with the required characters that will be available for trial and complete seven trials based on different themes.

In return, you will be rewarded with free Primogems, Hero's Wit, and Talent Level-Up Materials.

Energy Amplifier Fruition event

• Duration: 24th December (10:00) to 3rd January (03:59) 

In this event, players with Adventure Rank 20 or above will have to complete various challenges at different Points of Interest and Deceitful Domains to obtain scores. You will be able to unlock various rewards, including Primogems, Hero's Wit, Weapon Ascension Materials, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.

Marvellous Merchandise event

• Duration: 27th December (10:00) to 3rd January (03:59)

The objective of this event is to look for merchant Liben in Mondstadt and hand him over the materials he needs to open Boxes o' Marvels containing Primogems and more rewards.

After exchanging for five Boxes o' Marvels, you will unlock the Mega Boxes o' Marvels to get rewards like Primogems, Hero's Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Mora. You need to have Adventure Rank 12 or above in order to be eligible for the Marvelous Merchandise event.
