The Rite of the Lantern has begun in Genshin Impact, as well as all the main missions of this event.

This time, continuing with the main missions of the event, we bring you the guide to the second of the three acts of the Lantern Rite, which will be enabled once you have completed the first mission, The Origin of the Lanterns.

To begin the mission, you must go to the terrace of the Mingxiao Lantern to meet with Wang’ya, the organizer of the festival. She will update you with the event details, while she will ask you to collect more Plaustrite to finish the Lantern.

You will have to go to two points, where you will have to collect two types of Plaustrite that are difficult to find.

Once you eliminate the Bloatty Floatties and defeat the Ruin Hunter, you will have to return to Liyue and deliver the Plaustrites to Wang’ya, who will advise you to write your wishes on them so these can be added to the Lantern.

After this, Changchang will arrive wanting to build a Xiao Lantern, so you will have to go for materials to the construction site. When you get here, you will find someone suspicious, so you will have to investigate the site.

After doing this and collecting the necessary materials, you will return to Wang’ya to explain the situation. She will ask you to report this to the Millelith at the Ministry of Civil Affairs, who will tell you that those in charge of investigating this are out of town, so you must go find and inform them.

When you arrive here, you will come across a Hilichurl camp, which you will have to get rid of in order to speak with the Millelith soldier, who apparently was in the area investigating a thief. Due to Paimon's concern you will take care of this, so you will have to go back to the construction site.

Once there, you will see that the suspect has run away trying to flee from Xiao, who will be here due to his instinct for danger, as well as observing a seal left by the suspect.

Since neither of you will have any clue of what it means, you will have to go to Mondstadt to talk it over with Kaeya, who will tell you the seal is the mark of a criminal gang known as the Treasure Hoarders. To find out more about them, you will need to go to Windrise and speak to Kaeya's informant.

Arriving with the informant, Paimon will explain the whole situation to him. He, seeing the circumstances, does not believe this is the work of the Treasure Hoarders since it is not their modus operandi, in addition they recently received an anonymous letter, for which you must go to their camp to find out its content.

Once you get here, you will have to speak with a couple of Hoarders, while Xiao will also arrive. Suspecting this and that Xiao may be lying about being an Adepti, they will want to fight you. When you defeat them, they will show you the letter, which talks about a possible attack to Liyue.

You will have to go undercover to the place where the one who sent the letter will be waiting.

Being in front of him, he will not fall into the possible trap and will attack you, so you must defeat him as soon as possible. Once you defeat him, he will confess the whole truth since he was only an apprentice who wants to be part of the Treasure Hoarders, but did not seek to cause harm to anyone.

Paimon and you will alert the Millelith who will take the suspect away. Now you will have to return to the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Liyue, to close the case and finish the mission.

Upon completion you will receive 60 Primogems, 3 Hero’s Wit, and 30,000 Mora, in addition to unlocking the second part of the Lantern Rite Tales.
