Best Weapon

Staff of Homa and Moonpiercer would be the best weapons for Yaoyao for the healer role and Dendro reaction character, respectively.

Staff of Homa

HP increased by 20/25/30/35/40%. Additionally, provides an ATK Bonus based on 0.8/1/1.2/1.4/1.6% of the wielder's Max HP. When the wielder's HP is less than 50%, this ATK bonus is increased by an additional 1/1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8% of Max HP.

Moonpiercer

After triggering Burning, Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon, a Leaf of Revival will be created around the character for a maximum of 10s. When picked up, the Leaf will grant the character 16/20/24/28/32% ATK for 12s. Only 1 Leaf can be generated this way every 20s. This effect can still be triggered if the character is not on the field.

Best Artifact Set

Tenacity Of The Millelith (4-piece) is the best artifact set for Yaoyao as a healer; however, you should go with Deepwood Memories (4-piece) if you want the most out of the Dendro reactions.

• 2-Piece Bonus: Dendro DMG Bonus +15%.
• 4-Piece Bonus: After Elemental Skills or Bursts hit opponents, the targets' Dendro RES will be decreased by 30% for 8s. This effect can be triggered even if the equipping character is not on the field.

Tenacity Of The Millelith

• 2-Piece Bonus: HP +20%.
• 4-Piece Bonus: When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the ATK of all nearby party members is increased by 20% and their Shield Strength is increased by 30% for 3s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.

Best Yaoyao Team Composition in Genshin Impact

In order to get the most out of Yaoyao, we recommend you include Electro, Hydro, and Pyro characters in the team, to trigger Catalyze, Bloom, and Burning reactions that will increase the damage and its duration. In addition to this, these elements are enough to trigger Dendro reactions like Spread, Hyperbloom, etc., to deal bonus damage. 

As an Electro character, you can pick Fischl, who will also help in energy restoration, and to fill up the space of a Pyro character, Xiangling will be a good choice. At last, you can choose Ayato as your Hydro character in the team, who will also be the main DPS.
