Forza Motorsport launched on 10th October 2023 for console and PC, showcasing over 500 cars from multiple car manufacturers globally. Developer Turn 10 Studios has noted that there are more cars players can obtain from various packs and Add-On bundles, with more cars to be added post-launch.
There is a way for players to acquire various cars at a fraction of the price by taking advantage of the Spotlight Cars, which rotates on a weekly basis. If players want to add a new car to their garage or give them the edge when competing in various events, we’ve explained what Spotlight Cars are, how to get them, and the current roster available in Forza Motorsport.
4th January 2024 Update: This guide reflects that the 2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie is the next Spotlight Car available for players to acquire between 4th and 11th January 2024 in Forza Motorsport. The original reporting continues below.
What Are Spotlight Cars In Forza Motorsport?
Spotlight Cars are unique featured cars usually spotlighted in various in-game events, including Featured Tours for the Builders Cup, Featured Rivals, Spotlight Series, and Spec Series for the Featured Multiplayer mode. Once a car is spotlighted in an event, it’ll be highlighted at the Autoshow, the in-game showroom shop, where they’ll receive a 30% discount for the week the event is active in-game.
Naturally, this depends on the theme for the event in which the Spotlight Car is featured, which ranges from Car Class, car manufacturer, or type of car performance like muscle, sports, or luxury. Players can also use the Spotlight Car in its associated event, which can help them progress in claiming the Reward Car upon completion of the Featured Tour playlist.
As mentioned, players find the Spotlight Cars in-game by navigating to the Autoshow, accessed from the main menu. Scroll down to the Cars tab and then select Buy Cars to be directed to the Autoshow, and the Spotlight Cars will be found under the Featured tab.
