The Builders Cup Championship is the official Career Mode for Forza Motorsport, which takes inspiration from previous iterations and adds new features and mechanics. This single-player gameplay mode puts players in the front seat as they build their cars through "competition, car progression, and car building."
Similar to the Featured Multiplayer mode, players must first participate in a qualifying series to access the "automotive stories" at the center of this mode. If you wish to experience these "automotive stories" as a solo player, learn how to complete the Builders Cup Intro Series and progress to the next Tour event in Forza Motorsport.
How To Complete The Builders Cup Intro Series Events In Forza Motorsport?
Players can access the Builders Cup from the main menu under the Race tab, and they must select the Builders Cup Intro Series to begin the game's Career Mode. Players will also choose between one of three Starter cars: the 2019 Subaru STI S209, the 2018 Honda Civic Type R, and the 2018 Ford Mustang GT, to begin their career.
In this introduction series, players will get to "level, build and race their chosen car" across three tracks as they get acquainted with the new mechanics, Open Practice and Challenge the Grid. While Open Practise is relatively straightforward to understand, Challenge the Grid is a built-in rewarding system where players can toggle to change settings, like your starting position, difficulty, and race rules, which increase your race payout.
Players can also upgrade their Starter cars with the available and unlocked performance parts and fine-tune their vehicles before continuing the practice session or when starting the next race. There are three races for players to compete in the Builders Cup Intro Series, which, upon completion, grants them access to the next Builders Cup racing event.
For the Builders Cup Intro Series and subsequent Tour events, players can earn a unique trophy plus Credits, which depends on your final race position. Likewise, for every Tour event, they can unlock the spotlighted car, which will be added to their garage and used in other Live Events and, as such, can work towards building the car.
Lastly, there are multiple Achievements players can earn by completing various races in the Builders Cup. One of the earliest that can be unlocked is the Welcome To Builders Cup, which unlocks after completing the Builders Cup Intro Series.
Forza Motorsport will be available on 10th October 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, Cloud Gaming, Windows PC, and Steam. Players who've pre-ordered the game will receive Early Access, which begins on 5th October 2023.
