When Is Fallout Coming To Fortnite?

Fortnite's next season, Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked is arriving on May 24, 2024 and we've already received a glimpse at what's to come. One major eye-catcher is an upcoming collaboration with Fallout, Bethesda's iconic post-apocalyptic RPG.

The official Fortnite X account tweeted out an image that clearly shows the Brotherhood of Steel Power Armor on a new graphic. So, when is the Fallout collaboration set to drop?

When Does Fallout Arrive In Fortnite?

So far, all we know is that Fallout x Fortnite is expected to arrive sometime in Fortnite's Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked. Epic Games has yet to confirm whether the collaboration will be intertwined with the season's Battle Pass, or through a wave of cosmetics in the Item Shop.

The collaboration follows Prime Video's well-received Fallout TV adaptation, which introduced three new characters into the world of Fallout in an original story. It's unclear whether characters from the show will be arriving as part of the collaboration, however fans are hoping to see Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul make an appearance. 

This wouldn't be the first time Fortnite as partnered with Bethesda IPs, having included the Nord Warrior from Elder Scrolls Online and the Doom Slayer from the Doom franchise. 

Chapter 5 Season 3: Wrecked will launch on May 24, 2024, after a period of downtime to facilitate the update. It's unclear whether the Fallout collaboration will be live at launch, or if it will arrive later on in the season.
