Fortnite 2024 Summer Update Coming June 25, Say Leaks

Every year, Epic Games rolls out a seasonal Summer update for Fortnite often featuring brand new cosmetics and items to use in game. Last year's event, Summer Escape, saw Ice Cream Cones unvaulted and a brand new location, Sunswoon Lagoon.

For 2024, Epic Games has yet to reveal exactly what's on the cards, but leakers have already begun hinting at what to expect.

When Does Fortnite's Summer Update 2024 Launch?

According to known leaker HYPEX, Fortnite's 2024 Summer update will be arriving on June 25, 2024. This means players have less than a week to wait before they'll be able to kick off their Summer celebrations.

The leaker also revealed that the next update after that won't arrive until July 28, 2024, roughly 28 days after the Summer update.

Of course, these are leaks which means that plans are always subject to change at Epic Games' discretion.

What To Expect From Fortnite's Summer Update 2024?

For now, Epic Games has yet to reveal exactly what's on the way for this new Summer update. The same can be said for the leakers. However, fans can likely expect to see the return of previous Summer items, such as Ice Cream Cones, and for new items to make their way into the Item Shop.
