Shoes Have Arrived in Fortnite! Yes, I'm Serious.

Ever seen Kratos in a pair of Air Jordans?
Shoes Have Arrived in Fortnite! Yes, I'm Serious.
Epic Games

Epic Games has expanded its range of cosmetics in Fortnite, because having Goku fighting John Wick in a banana backpack wasn't quite hitting the spot. From today, players will be able to add 'Kicks' to their Fortnite Outfits, starting with the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Black Toe Reimagined, which will be included in the Remix Pass.

Now, I'm not a shoe-enthusiast so the addition of a good sneaker is arguably wasted on me, but giving players a little more room for creativity is usually a good thing. New styles are set to be debuting regularly, but to begin with we'll have three Nike drops to grab from the Item Shop, followed by four pairs of Air Jordans:

  • Nike Cortez Leather OG
  • Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Galaxy’
  • Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Palomino’
  • Air Jordan 3 ‘Black Cement-Gray’
  • Air Jordan 11 ‘Black/Gym Red’
  •  Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Manila’

There will also be some Fortnite original shoes added to the line-up, starting with the Chomp Stompers. At launch, Kicks will be compatible with over 500 existing Outfits, with more than 95% of Outfits expected to be compatible by Spring 2025.

If you're unsure whether your favourite Outfit will work with Kicks, you'll be able to check compatibility when viewing the Kicks in the Item Shop. As part of the launch promotion, players will be able to claim a free ‘Show ‘Em Off’ emote between November 21 at 7 PM ET and December 1 at 7 PM ET.
