How To Land At Driftwood & Collect Bars In A Single Match In Fortnite

Players logging into Fortnite this week should be able to view the latest batch of Weekly Quests available to complete for XP. Completing these quests can assist them in grinding out the Battle Pass, allowing them to unlock several in-game items.

One of these quests is connected to The Driftwood ship, which can be spotted hovering around the bottom area of the Island map. We’ve detailed how players can complete this Weekly Quest to earn valuable XP in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4.

How To Complete The Driftwood And Collect Bars

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4’s Week 3 quest tasks players with various challenges to complete with rewards to be earned. One quest, in particular, requires them to travel and land at The Driftwood and collect around 100 Gold bars within a single match.

This specific quest has stumped players due to the lack of Gold bars that can be found on the floating pirate ship. The Driftwood is located just west of the Rocky Reels POI, for which, once players exit the Battle Bus, they immediately head for the pirate ship and land before moving off.

It’s important to note that The Driftwood is known to adjust its course every couple of weeks slightly, but it generally moves around the desert region of the Island map. After landing on the floating pirate ship, head up the bell above the ship before skydiving to the next location, the floating platform at the Flutter Barn.

Head inside the nearest building and locate the cash register before moving towards Rocky Reels to find the cash registers at the drive-in movie theater. There are around six cash registers scattered at the drive-in movie theater at Rocky Reels, which should quickly assist in completing this quest in Fortnite.

As long as players land on The Driftwood to complete the first part of the quest, they can move off the ship for the next part. Following the easy route detailed in locating the cash registers and collecting around 100 Gold bars, they’ll finish this quest within minutes as long as they don’t bump into other players.

While it’s possible players may encounter enemies when landing on The Driftwood, they’ll need to move fast once they’ve landed and moved off to avoid getting eliminated and retrying the quest. As others are looking to complete the Weekly Quest, expect some intense firefights to occur at The Driftwood.
