Fortnite v20.10 Hotfix - Battle for Condo Canyon & Unvaulted Items

The action has been intense throughout the initial seasons of Fortnite Chapter 3. Serious changes have spruced up the battle royale as Epic Games removed the building feature for a brief period in addition to new gameplay controls that players had been requesting.

Now in Season 2 of Chapter 3, the game developers are back with more tweaks and the return of some fan-favourite content from previous seasons. Check out the new v20.10 Hotfix which includes the battle for Condo Canyon and some popular Unvaulted items.

Fortnite v20.10 Hotfix - Battle for Condo Canyon

Early Chapter 3 Season 2 action saw a serious concentration of enemy forces at The Daily Bugle, and Hotfix v20.10 reveals that The Resistance has won the fight for supremacy. Though it adds this is not a time for players to get complacent, as IO Forces are now congregating at Condo Canyon and will be ready to fight for dominance of the POI.

Keep your head on a swivel when dropping into Condo Canyon as it will be one of the most hostile locations on the Season 2 map. It's also worth noting that Huntmasater Saber is overhead, just as was the case at The Daily Bugle.

Jetpacks unvaulted - Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

One of the more popular items in recent years of Fortnite, Jetpacks are back as part of the v20.10 Hotfix, but this time with a twist. Formerly, Jetpacks could be hard to operate when engaging in combat as the Jetpack would fly in the opposite direction of your aiming (when zooming on a weapon).

With the v20.10 Hotfix, Jetpacks now hover and strafe when you’re aiming-down-sights, allowing you to be steady and keep your eyes in the sky while lining up a shot. To get a Jetpack in Chapter 3 Season 2, head to one of the IO Blimp locations where the legendary item will be on a wall inside the airship.

Egg Launchers and Bouncy Eggs are back - v20.10 Hotfix

Another pair of throwback items unvaulted with the v20.10 Hotfix, the Egg Launcher and Bouncy Eggs return to the map for Chapter 3 Season 2. This is likely more of a temporary fix as the Easter holiday is fast approaching, but both will be very popular amongst long-time Fortnite players.

The patch notes suggest that Egg Launchers can be found in loot chests as well as just general floor loot, while Bouncy Eggs are scattered across the island in various locations.
