The action is non-stop in Chapter 3 of Fortnite with developers Epic Games continuously updating the battle royale. We've already seen exciting map changes including the return of Tilted Towers, as well as the addition of Klombos.
It's now time for another Title Update as v19.20 is arriving with some noticeable changes. A classic close-range weapon has been unvaulted and players will certainly be looking to get their hands on it.
Here's everything you need to know about the Fortnite Heavy Shotgun, now back in the battle royale as part of Update v19.20.
Fortnite Heavy Shotgun is back - Chapter 3 Season 1
Fortnite Update v19.20 is now live and brings some exciting changes to the battle royale. A map tweak has brought a new POI called Covert Cavern, to the mountains north of Camp Cuddle.
Camp Cuddle is the new home to the Mythic version of the Stinger SMG, but that's not the only new weapons change. Update v19.20 unvaulted the Heavy Shotgun, an old close-range machine for hard-hitting firefights.
The Heavy Shotgun was first introduced to Fortnite during the Spy Games event in Chapter 2 Season 2 but was only available in Operation game modes.

How to get Heavy Shotgun in Fortnite Chapter 3
The Heavy Shotgun is back in Fortnite and it can be unlocked in a multitude of ways. Players can find a Heavy Shotgun in Loot Chests, Supply Drops, Sharks, as well as on the ground as general Floor Loot.
While there is no known NPC or named map location that will spawn the Heavy Shotgun in each game, that could certainly change with future updates. Just as we saw a location added with the Mythic version of the Stinger SMG.
