Fortnite Bootcamp: Free V-Bucks, exclusive, schedule, format, and how to play

Fortnite are back with another tournament and this one has a V-Bucks twist with the Fortnite Community Battle Bootcmap giving players the opportunity to earn some precious V-Bucks by completing daily challenges.

Completely the daily challenges will unlock the the final challenge, where thousands of players will battle it out, with the top 20,000 earning V-Bucks for their efforts.

The rules state that only players from Germany, Switzerland, and Austria can compete however players from other regions, including North America, have been able to register on the website.

Whether other regions are eligible for prizing isn't clear but if you are from outside the three countries listed above, and you choose to compete, maybe go in it for the fun and competition rather than the hope of some V-Bucks.

The event runs from Wednesday, 19th August at 10 am CEST until Sunday, 23rd August at 8 pm.

How to sign up for Fortnite Community Battle Bootcamp

Signing up for the Bootcamp is easy, just register your account on the Community Battle page and then follow these steps for success.

1. Sign up with your Epic Account by going here.
2. Complete the challenges set by Epic.
3. Make it to final challenge
4. Compete against the best and attempt to win the Grand Prize

V-Bucks Prize Pool

Players who score the most points in the Final Challenge will earn V-Bucks. 20,000 players in all will earn V-Bucks with 1st place taking home 2,500.

• 2nd – 2,250 V-Bucks
• 3rd – 2,000 V-Bucks
• 4th – 1,750 V-Bucks
• 5th – 1,500 V-Bucks
• 6th – 1,250 V-Bucks
• 7-25th – 1,000 V-Bucks
• 26-100th – 800 V-Bucks
• 101-500th – 500 V-Bucks
• 500-5,000th – 300 V-Bucks
• 5,001-10,000th – 250 V-Bucks
• 10,001-20,000th – 200 V-Bucks

Players who reach the Final Challenge will also earn the exclusive Kab-Llama Spray.
