Another Five Nights at Freddy's Game called Into The Pit is coming from Mega Cat Studios, Scott Cawthon confirmed after leaks revealed the game on Reddit. The game will celebrate Five Nights at Freddys' 10th anniversary, though there's no information quite yet about what gameplay might include, or what characters will be featured.
Originally, the FNAF subreddit removed all instances of Into The Pit's trailer and mentions of it out of respect for the developer. However, in his own Reddit post, Cawthon confirmed that he was ready to talk about the game after the leaks, as it's been "in development for a really long time."
"No need to keep [Into The Pit] all hush-hush," Cawthon wrote. "It's okay! Yes, I was trying to keep it a secret for a bit longer, but now that it's out, that's fine...I'm really proud of the final product."

The trailer uses pixel art, showcasing a style that other FNAF games have been stylistically inspired by - but there's never been a fully-pixel FNAF game before, suggesting Into The Pit could be the first.
It's worth noting that there's a FNAF book called "Into The Pit: An AFK Book," filled with novella-length stories from the world of Five Nights at Freddy's. Perhaps the game could draw on the stories from this book, given its greatly similar name.
The Pit isn't the first Five Nights at Freddy's game to leak recently. Just a few months ago, a company working on a new FNAF Roblox game accidentally released the unfinished title FNAF: Survival Crew after Cawthon confirmed to them that just one skin was good to go. The game was promptly removed from Robox after Cawthon discovered the misunderstanding.
