The world of Final Fantasy XIV is a big one. So big, in fact, that it isn't contained to just one world. With the amount of explorable areas only expanding thanks to the latest DLC Dawntrail, getting from A to B is starting to become a bit of a chore. Luckily, the network of Aetheryte Crystals makes fast-travel a convenient option, except it costs a hefty amount of Gil the further your travel distance.
Aetheryte Tickets, however, allow you to travel for free, lifting the burden of parting with your precious Gil just to go save a settlement in a far away land.
What Are Aetheryte Tickets In Final Fantasy XIV?
Aetheryte Tickets are consumable items that allow you to travel to any Aetheryte Crystal, no matter the distance, at no cost. They're a convenient way to save yourself some hassle if your Return action doesn't quite cut it, or you need to save yourself some Gil. But, given their convenience, these Aetheryte Tickets aren't always just given away for free.
