Final Fantasy 14 x Fall Guys Collaboration: Start Date, Time, Costumes

Both Final Fantasy 14 and Fall Guys are no strangers to exciting crossovers and collaborations, but oddly enough never with each other. Thankfully, that all seems set to change as both Square Enix and Mediatonic are teaming up to bring some themed cosmetics and experiences to Final Fantasy 14 and Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout.

The collaboration was announced during FFXIV FanFest as part of a series of new content set to hit the MMORPG throughout coming months. While the major takeaway from the event was the announcement of Dawntrail, the game's fifth and latest expansion pack, there were plenty of other reveals generating buzz. Below, we'll go over when the Final Fantasy 14 x Fall Guys collaboration is set to start, and what sort of content has been announced so far in each game.

Final Fantasy 14 x Fall Guys Collaboration: Start, End Date & Time

The Final Fantasy 14 x Fall Guys, in Fall Guys, collaboration begin on August 22, 2023. In Fall Guys, the collaboration was part of the new Fame Pass, which went live on August 22, 2023 at 10 a.m. GMT. The Fame Pass, and the collaboration, is ended on October 3, 2023, at 10 a.m. GMT.

In Final Fantasy 14, Fall Guys courses will be made available on October 31, 2023 as part of of the 6.51 update.

Final Fantasy 14 x Fall Guys Collaborations: All Content, Cosmetics Announced So Far

With the Final Fantasy 14 x Fall Guys collaboration began on August 22 in Fall Guys, but more content is on the way for Final Fantasy 14. Players can look forward to various reveals of the different content set to arrive in each game. For now, we've got some early information that gives us an idea of what to expect.

Fall Guys Content In Final Fantasy 14

In Final Fantasy 14, players will need to head over to the Gold Saucer. Aside from the usual mini-games and challenges, brand new Fall Guys-themed obstacle courses will be heading to Eorzea. Here, players will be competing against friends and foes alike in a race to complete the courses akin to that in the obstacle course battle royale. The activity will see groups of up to 24 players take on the courses. 

The Fall Guys courses will go live in Final Fantasy 14 on October 31, 2023 as part of the 6.51 update.

Final Fantasy 14 Content In Fall Guys

Fall Guys players will have plenty of new Costumes to add to their wardrobes thanks to this collaboration. By purchasing the Warriors of Light Fame Pass, players will have access to a selection of FF14-themed costumes, emotes, and rewards.

In a blog over on the Fall Guys website, it was revealed that the following Costumes will be up for grabs during the event:

• Alphinaud Costume
• Alisaie Costume
• Dragoon Costume
• Namazu Costume
• Fat Chocobo Costume
• Fat Black Chocobo Costume
• Goobbue Costume
• White Mage Costume
