How To Unlock Tender Valley Dungeon In FFXIV: Dawntrail

FFXIV's fifth expansion, Dawntrail, raises the game's level cap up to 100, adding in a new wave of max level content for players to work through. This includes some brand new optional dungeons which you can only take on with a Level 100 character. 

While most of Dawntrail's dungeons will be unlocked via the MSQ, Tender Valley is an optional one. 

Tender Valley Unlock Requirements In Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail

To unlock Tender Valley as an available dungeon, players will need a character that is Level 100 in Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic. Head to Tulliyollal, specifically X:14.0, Y:12.5, and look for the quest: It Belongs in a Museum. The NPC quest giver is called Zeycihan.

Tender Valley can be taken on with a Light Party and features the following objectives:

• Arrive in Spineblossom.
• Defeat the barreltender.
• Arrive at the tremendous tank.
• Defeat Anthracite.
• Arrive at the Altar of the Urn Exulted.
• Defeat the greatest serpent of Tural.

All Tender Valley Loots & Items

The main batch of loot to be obtained in this dungeon are the Epochal accessories, which require a Level 100 character and offer an Item Level of 690. Players can also find:

• Blessings on the Bluffs Orchestrion Roll
• Tankardtender Minion
• Battledance Materia XI
• Heavens' Eye Materia XI  
• Piety Materia XI
• Quickarm Materia XI
• Quicktongue Materia XI
• Savage Aim Materia XI
• Savage Might Materia XI
