Final Fantasy XIV's new expansion, Dawntrail, is almost here. To celebrate, Square Enix has unveiled a recreation of the game's Aetheryte Crystal in central London. Fans can head down to Kings Cross St Pancras to attune themselves to the crystal in real life, but be quick — the Aetheryte Crystal will only be around for 24 hours.
In-game, the iconic crystal is found in major cities and settlements for players to attune themselves to in order to facilitate fast travel around Eorzea and beyond. With the arrival of Dawntrail, players will have even more locations to visit and uncover.
Dawntrail is the fifth expansion for Final Fantasy XIV, bringing with it a brand new story arc following the conclusion of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark saga. The expansion increases the level cap to 100, and introduces two new Job classes: Pictomancer and Viper.
In addition, the new female Hrothgar will arrive as a new playable race, and players will have new dungeons, quests, FATEs and more to explore.
