How to open Bunker 2 for Cache Money quest in Far Cry 6

Cache Money is one of several Treasure Hunts that players can take on in Far Cry 6. There are standard hunts that players can complete for a quick and easy payout, and then there are some that are tied to other quests, like unlocking Oluso. For Cache Money, players simply need to complete the hunt to earn some high-tier loot. 

Like most other hunts, Cache Money involves opening a bunker that holds all of the treasure. The player’s objective is to figure out the way to open the bunker, which can be a confusing process at times. Cache Money is no different, as some players have been stumped by Bunker 2 in Cache Money. 

Below, any player that’s stumped by Bunker 2 can see exactly how to open it for the Cache Money Treasure Hunt in Far Cry 6. 

Opening Bunker 2 for Cache Money in Far Cry 6

You can start the Cache Money Treasure Hunt once you reach the Aguas Lindas FND Base in the Madrugada region. At the hunt’s location on the map, you can begin searching the crates to find the notes that trigger the quest. 

Once this happens, you can begin figuring out how to open Bunker 2. The notes will lead you to the bunker, so you don’t have to worry about finding it yourself. 

At the bunker, you’ll need to climb on the roof across from the opening door of the bunker. You need to find some way inside the front door, but it’s closed off when you get there. Luckily, there is a switch that opens the door for a brief second. You can press this switch on top of the roof across from the front door. 

Once you press it, you’ll need to quickly throw a grenade inside of the door. This requires some good aim, but with enough tries, you should be able to land the grenade. This will explode the gas canisters inside of the bunker and give you access inside. 

Enter once the flames from the fire have dissipated and shoot the lock that’s hanging from the gate. Head through the gate and find the key to the officer’s office. Inside the office, you can find the switch to the treasure room under his desk. Press the switch, and you’ll have full access to the Bunker 2 treasure and complete Cache Money.

You’ll find a sniper rifle, the Sobek Special, inside of the treasure room, along with other items and currency.
