Developer ZeniMax Online Studios revealed the next Chapter, the Gold Road, for The Elder Scrolls Online alongside a new dungeon DLC. The Scions of Ithelia will conclude the Shadows Over Morrowind arc while setting up the stage for the next arc in the Gold Road Chapter.

ESO Scions Of Ithelia DLC Release Time & Date Countdown

The Scions of Ithelia is an upcoming dungeon DLC arriving to The Elder Scrolls Online as per its announcement during the ESO 2024 Global Reveal event. This dungeon DLC will continue the current story from the Necrom Chapter as players will learn about the Forgotten Prince and their threat, which is to be played out through the new content that concludes the Shadow Over Morrowind story arc.

Scions of Ithelia will be the final DLC to be released before the launch of the Gold Road Chapter, arriving in June 2024 on console and PC. According to developer ZeniMax Online Studios, the Scions of Ithelia DLC will launch for PC via Steam and Mac on 11th March 2024, while the game’s PlayStation and Xbox versions will be available from 26th March 2024; however, official times have yet to be confirmed.

Players interested in the upcoming dungeon DLC will be pleased to know that Scions of Ithelia will be available to claim from the Crown Store at launch. As previously mentioned, the Scions of Ithelia continues from the Necrom Chapter, which follows a secret that the Daedric Prince, Hermaeus Mora, had been keeping a secret. This secret is revealed to be the impending arrival of the Forgotten Prince, Ithelia, whose appearance will pose a significant threat to reality as we know it.

This will be explored in two new four-player PvE dungeons, the Bedlam Veil and the Oathsworn Pit, which the developer noted as being a “training ground for the followers of Malacath and a secret vault within the Oblivion demi-realm of Maelstrom.” These dungeons will feature Normal and Veteran difficulties with a Hard Mode added and include unique rewards to claim and their own set of Achievements to unlock.
