Your journey across Tamriel can be a lonely endeavor, but it doesn’t have to be by bringing your favorite pet companion along. These non-combative creatures can be acquired in multiple ways and have distinctive types, which may help distinguish which pet can be left at home and who can endure the trek to Morrowind.
The latest Elder Scrolls Online chapter, Necrom, has introduced two new pets to add to your collection, and luckily enough, no crowns are required to obtain them. Here we’ve listed the new pets included in the ESO Necrom chapter and how to get them in-game.
How To Get All ESO Necrom Pets?
The Elder Scrolls Online’s (ESO) Necrom chapter added two more pets to bring home, as detailed in the version 9.0.5 patch notes. These pets can be acquired through the game’s progression by participating in dungeons, the new World Events and meeting their prerequisites.

The ESO Necrom chapter brings the Graht-Oak Squirrel and the Obsidian Dwarven Sphere, which can be obtained in various ways. Obsidian Dwarven Sphere can be acquired after unlocking the Keeper of the Bastion Achievement, tied to the Bastion Nymic World Event.
To unlock this Achievement, you must complete three achievements before the Keeper of the Bastion becomes unlockable: the Bane of Heralds, Bastion Nymic Master Puzzler, and the Nymic Champion achievements. Completing these will unlock the Keeper of the Bastion achievement and reward the Obsidian Dwarven Sphere.
The other new pet arriving in Morrowind this chapter is the Graht-Oak Squirrel, a mammal that enjoys hiding in holes surrounding the Graht-Oak tree roots. This pet can be earned by unlocking the Great Oaks from Little Acorns Achievement, which requires you to collect and use various items.
You’ll need to collect 25 Lost Graht-Oak Acorns and 25 Unearthed Valenwood Seedlings before using them in various applications to earn this Achievement. As such, you can unlock this adorable fluffy pet with whom you can form a life-long friendship, even if it steals acorns from you.
Alongside these new pets, which can be found by navigating to the Pets tab, two new mounts have been added to the ESO Necrom chapter. Like these unique pets, the mounts can be obtained by unlocking adjacent Achievements, allowing you to explore Morrowind with your new noble steed.
