The West Weald zone will open its doors to players when the Gold Road Chapter for The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) launches in June 2024. This DLC, which includes a Prologue Quest that they can unlock, continues unresolved themes from the previous Chapter, Necrom, and a new Trial event, the Lucent Citadel.
This 12-player Trial, which is available on the Public Test Server (PTS), unlocks a myriad of rewards. In this guide, we've detailed all the rewards players can earn during the Lucent Citadel Trial event for the ESO Gold Road Chapter.
All Lucent Citadel Trial Rewards In ESO Gold Road
The Lucent Citadel is a brand new Trial event that will be included with the upcoming Gold Road Chapter DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online. This trial is specifically a 12-player event, which, according to in-game lore, is located within a long-forgotten Daedric Vault and has connections to the Forgotten Prince, Ithelia.
Players looking to participate in this new combat experience will first need to locate its entrance within the West Weald zone. The entrance is located north, where the Valente Vineyards Wayshrine is the closest travel point and can follow the path north to reach the Lucent Citadel.
This trial can be completed on Normal or Veteran difficulty with the option of the Hard Mode for the boss encounters when doing it on Veteran difficulty. Nevertheless, when completing the trial, regardless of the difficulty, players can claim various rewards upon its completion and unlock various Achievements if the conditions are met.
Upon completing the Achievements within the Lucent Citadel, they can receive various body and face markings, unique titles, Housing items, and a Mount, the Refulgent Mirrormoor Steed. This Mount can be rewarded to players for completing the Knot Worthy Achievement, which requires them to have completed all Achievements for the Lucent Citadel Trial.
As for the other rewards they can earn within the Lucent Citadel, we've detailed them below for the ESO Gold Road Chapter, as revealed in the Gold Road PTS Patch Notes:
Lucent Echoes (Heavy Armor):
- Two pieces – Adds 4% Healing Taken.
- Three pieces – Gain Minor Aegis constantly while reducing damage taken from Dungeon, Trial, and Arena Monsters by 5%.
- Four pieces – Adds 1,206 Max Health.
- Five pieces – If Health is 50% or more, they can increase all group members' Critical Damage and Healing by 11%; however, group members wearing Lucent Echoes can't benefit from this effect. If Health is lower than 50%, it will reduce the damage taken from monsters by 20%.
