Even when they have offensive capabilities, they are usually quite tame to avoid becoming powerhouse weapons on their own. However, Shadow of The Erdtree bucks this tradition by introducing two new Thrusting Shields that are immensely powerful.

All Thrusting Shields Locations In Elden Ring 

There are two Thrusting Shields you can find across the Land of Shadow in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC (at least at the time of writing): the Carian Thrusting Shield and the Dueling Thrusting Shield. Both of these shields are unique in that they can be used as primary weapons, and when two-handed, they can be thrust into or against your enemies.

Both shields can be found in the Shadow Keep, the third main area of the game, after defeating Rellana, Twin Moon Knight. Here are their respective locations:

Carian Thrusting Shield Location

The Carian Thrusting Shield can be found in the same room as the Storehouse, Back Section Site of Grace. To reach it, players need to enter the Shadow Keep via the Church District elevator, which can be accessed by going through Bonny Village.

From the Storehouse Back Section site of grace, continue forward and you will reach a room where you find a Fire Knight and a few other enemies. The shield is right past the Fire Knight and can be found on a corpse under the table.

Dueling Thrusting Shield Location

The Dueling Thrusting Shield can also be found in the Shadow Keep and can be accessed from the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace. From there, climb to the third floor using the stairs on the opposite end of the room, and you’ll reach a wooden bridge where you’ll be attacked by multiple Shadow Militiamen.

This is right next to the marble statue you need to climb to reach the next section. Look to the left, and you’ll notice a large open area that can be accessed by jumping onto a thin stone ramp attached to the bridge. Jump off the railing to the ramp, and you’ll find the Dueling Shield on a corpse behind the stone slabs to the right.
