FromSoftware's Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is absolutely fantastic, according to rave reviews (mostly 10s!) coming in from critics across the globe. Some fans, however, think the game is too difficult, which doesn't come as much of a surprise.

Even Elden Ring veterans appear to be struggling a bit, and that's because many players seem to be rushing the challenging bosses. That's why Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco gave some words of advice recently, stating: "This is a suggestion to level up your Scadutree Blessing."

How To Upgrade Scadutree Blessing in Elden Ring

The Scadutree Blessing is essentially a powerful buff that increases your damage output and reduces the damage you receive by roughly 5% for each level in the Shadow Realm. It does not work outside the Shadow Realm. 

To upgrade your Scadutree Blessing, you must spend one Scadutree Fragment at a Site of Grace to get to level 2. From level 2 to 9, two Scadutree Fragments are required, and from level 10 to 20, three are required.

Clearly, you'll want to find as many Scadutree Fragments as humanly possible, as it will make the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion "easier."

Elden Ring Scadutree Fragment Locations in Shadow Realm

While the Scadutree Fragments are located across the entirety of the Shadow Realm in Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, there are some landmarks you can head to that have good chances of having a Scadutree Fragment. This includes all Miquella's Crosses, as well as some statues of Marika and churches.
