What we know so far about Elden Ring
Since the game’s announcement, we haven’t heard much about the game, other than footage seen during Xbox’s E3 presentation in 2019. Over the months, the developer has been providing fans with more in-game images and clips until the Summer Games Fest in June 2021.
One of the announcements made during the Summer Games Fest was its initial release date of 21st January 2022. Arriving on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, it was also confirmed to be supporting cross-generational play.
Nevertheless, as previously reported, players will be able to create and customise their characters instead of selecting from the default character. Additionally, we have seen detailed game level design, showcasing elaborate dungeons and ruins as well as striking open-world environments - a stark contrast to Dark Souls.
In terms of gameplay features, there isn’t much to go on or available other than what's been confirmed thus far. Gameplay features and details such as the game’s combat system, character progression, and more has yet to be announced.
We will update the article as soon as more information becomes available.
