Elden Ring Player AinRun Defeats Promised Consort Radahn with Just 1 HP and a Dream

Despite the Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, being out for three months, players are still discovering unique and challenging ways to play the game optimally. One player took this to the extreme by defeating Promised Consort Radahn with just 1 HP, 1 FP, and 1 Stamina.

AinRun, a well-known speedrunner of Souls games, including Elden Ring, recently completed his challenge of beating Elden Ring with only 1 HP, 1 FP, and 1 Stamina. Despite facing significant challenges, AinRun managed to reach Promised Consort Radahn and ultimately defeat him, becoming the first player to achieve this feat.

His struggles were very real, as he reported dying 900 times throughout the run. He explained that the biggest difficulty stemmed from not being able to chain movements together, as he had to wait for cooldowns for each action—a punishing aspect of the challenge. Nevertheless, AinRun successfully pulled it off.

His experience with no-hit runs likely made this challenge easier, as he was already familiar with stamina management. Regardless, this accomplishment is impressive. Elden Ring and its DLC continue to offer countless opportunities for challenges and speed runs, which is expected from games produced by FromSoftware, where challenge runs remain active even after years.
