Dungeons of Hinterberg, a brand new action-RPG with puzzle-solving and hack 'n' slash combat, is set to arrive later this year. Curve Games and Microbird have announced that the game is set to launch on July 18, 2024.
Players take on the roll of Luisa, a law trainee who has traded in the office life for dungeon delving in the Austrian Alps. With monsters aplenty, Luisa must snowboard, climb and zipline her way around the alps, using magic and might to keep the dangerous creatures at bay.
When she's not slaying her way through dungeons, Luisa can also forge friendships with the locals who can help her to grow stronger, and equip her with new abilities.
Dungeons of Hinterberg will be available on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and via Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and cloud. All platforms will be available upon release.
In celebration of the release date announcement, developer Microbird is also opening up sign-ups for playtesters, giving fans the chance to jump into Dungeons of Hinterberg for the first time across two days.
Sign-ups are now open via Steam. The playtest is set to take place between May 9 and May 16, 2024.
