Diablo Immortal Stormpoint Zone: How To Unlock, Quests & Overview

With the release of Diablo Immortal Season 8, Blizzard added a tonne of content, from new Helliquary bosses to Legendary Gems, the Phantom Market event, and more. However, the biggest piece of content is undoubtedly Stormpoint, Diablo Immortal's first new zone! 

This article explains how Nephalem on mobile and PC can unlock the Stormpoint zone in Diablo Immortal by meeting certain requirements and the type of content you can expect to find inside this fantastic new area, so let's get started.

How To Unlock Stormpoint Zone in Diablo Immortal

First and foremost, don't worry; Diablo Immortal's new Stormpoint zone is completely free for all players if they meet the in-game requirements. This is, however, more of an endgame area, not for those who have just hit max level.

To unlock Stormpoint in Diablo Immortal, players must obviously have reached level 60 with their hero. They also need to have completed the Starsign quest and reach at least Hell Difficulty III. To unlock Hell III difficulty for the first time, you now have to beat Gorgothra the Claimer, the third Helliquary boss in Diablo Immortal following the Season 8 update. 

Diablo Immortal Stormpoint Content Overview

The Stormpoint zone features a brand-new main story questline alongside 20 new monsters for Nephalem to defeat. There are also new minibosses and fully-fledged bosses to discover, and a tonne of crabs, because why not?

Blizzard introduces Diablo Immortal's Stormpoint zone with a bit of lore, teasing the type of story you will be able to enjoy in the new zone:

Battered by rainfall and caked in mist, the island has long been used as a clandestine prison to house Sanctuary’s worst of the worst and political prisoners. Diablo’s servants - the Cult of Terror, are sieging Stormpoint Keep in an attempt to retrieve the largest shard of the Worldstone. Putting their sinister plan to rest requires your urgency, adventurer. But watch out, the behemoth Howling Terror watches your every move from the lightning-filled skies above.
