This is the third time this month that Xur will make an appearance in Destiny 2, and as always, he's back with some new exotics Guardians to add to their collection. From September 16 to the end of the day on September 18, you'll be able to visit the Agent of the Nine.
To get any of his items though, you'll need to find where Xur is hiding out. The Xur you find at Eternity is different from the weekly shop we all expect. This guide will show you exactly where Xur is for the week of September 16 and what items he's selling this time.
Where is Xur? - September 16 Exotics in Destiny 2
There are only three places that Xur can appear in Destiny 2 when he arrives for the weekend. Regardless of the season or the week, the Agent of the Nine will only appear in the Tower, Nessus, or the EDZ area. For the week of September 16, the Exotic shopkeeper will be hanging out in Nessus.
To reach him, you can spawn into the Watcher's Grave area of Nessus. If you look to the northern side of the Watcher's Grave, you'll see some red trees and growth that you can climb when you move on the sides. Move up the branch path to find Xur with a new set of weekly items and Exotics.

As always, Xur sells a new weapon, an armor piece for each class, and engrams. You can also expect the Dead Man's Tale and Hawkmoon each week with new rolls. Below you'll find all of the Exotics that Xur is selling for the week of September 16 in Destiny 2.
- Two-Tailed Fox (Rocket Launcher)
- Shards of Galanor (Hunter Gauntlets)
- Hallowfire Heart (Titan Chest Armor)
- Transversive Steps (Warlock Leg Armor)
- Exotic Engram
- Hawkmoon (Surplus Perk)
- Dead Man's Tale (Moving Target)
Along with all of the Exotics we expect each week, Xur also brings some Legendary armor that you can purchase with Legendary Shards. Some weapons accompany the armor as well, including options such as the Royal Chase and the Imperial Needle. Everything, including the new Exotics, will require your Legendary Shards.
You can only get one Exotic Engram with Legendary Shards per week. After, you'll have to spend an Exotic Cipher. Whether you decide to use one or not, there is plenty to buy in this week of Destiny 2.
