Once the Destiny 2 Lightfall campaign draws to an end, you'll be tasked with completing an exotic quest called Unfinished Business. The quest requires you to accomplish a variety of objectives and rewards with the exotic weapon, Deterministic Chaos, upon completion. We've outlined the Unfinished Business quest walkthrough in 13 steps, so without further ado, let's dive into the details.
1. Go to the Hall of Heroes
Make your way to Neomuna's Hall of Heroes to unlock the top section of the map. This legendary destination is where you can witness a captivating cutscene paying tribute to Rohan.
2. Meet Nimbus
Once the cutscene has ended, your next objective is to locate Nimbus and uncover the reason for their early departure from Rohan's induction ceremony.
3. Extract Rohan’s data
Now you need to locate Cipher Qubits and gather Rohan's data from various sources in Neomuna. You can acquire Cipher Qubits by defeating Vex, located in the Liming Harbor on the southern side of Neomuna.
3. Find the Last Data Packet
The last packet can be found in Maya's Retreat, located in the southeastern part of the map, right next to the Liming Harbor district.
5. Recover the Data Packet
After reaching the location, you'll find a bunch of enemies that you must defeat to proceed. After completing the objective, find the Data Packet at the center of the area and collect it.
6. Regroup with Nimbus and Osiris
Teleport to the Liming Harbor waypoint in Radiosonde to regroup with Nimbus and Osiris to figure out what was written in Rohan’s notes.
7. Retrieve a Vex Compass
8. Defeat 100 Combatants
Once you have Vex Compass, head to the Ahimsa Park and take out 100 combatants. It's a good idea to use your special abilities to distract the Shadow Legion forces from Calus's ship. The more enemies you defeat with your abilities, the more chaos you can cause.
9. Find the Seed of Silver Wings
The next step is to visit Calus’ ship and find Silver Wings. The other part of the passkey is a Seed of Silver Wings. You can locate it in Calus's vaults, which are situated deep inside the Typhon Imperator.
10. Return to Nimbus to get Rohan’s Passkey
Teleport to the Nimbu's nearest waypoint and hand over all the ingredients required to him in order to craft the passkey.
11. Complete the mission What Remains
During the "What Remains" mission, the Guardian revisits the Black Garden to trace Rohan's path and find a method to locate the Witness. Along the way, you will obtain Deterministic Chaos and have an opportunity to use it.
12. Return to Nimbus
Visit the Nimbus and speak with him at the Hall of Heroes with Conceptual Mind’s memory core.
13. Visit the Hall of Heroes
The final stage is to visit the Hall of Heroes and pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives to protect humanity. This area is located at the rear of the Hall, and completing this objective will be marked the Unfinished Business quest as completed.
