Critics say Destiny 2 is a "dead game," however, every time a big new update arrives, the servers simply can't handle the influx of people trying to get into it.
It's a common occurrence when a new expansion or even season begins, and now, Guardians are stuck trying to log in following the release of Bungie's 30th Anniversary update.
Unable to enjoy the festivities, Guardians are looking at how to get into the game and are wondering if there's a faster way to bypass the "servers at capacity" message.
How to Fix Destiny 2 if at capacity
You might have seen this coming, but sadly, there is no way for you to "fix" this error since there is nothing on your end wrong, it's all Bungie.
Since the servers are at full capacity, it simply means you'll have to wait patiently for your turn to get past the lobby and enjoy the 30th Anniversary update.
Our only recommendation is for you to stop rebooting the game every time you see the message, as it more than likely resets your spot on the queue, making you get stuck endlessly on it.
Alternatively, why don't you make take a bit of time off, check out how green the grass is outside your house and return in a few hours when the novelty of release day has worn off?
Then again, the promise of reuniting with Gjallarhorn or iconic Halo weapons like the Battle Rifle and the Magnum Pistol is too good to hold on until a few hours, so we totally understand (and share) your frustration.
