The annual spooky Festival of the Lost has arrived in Destiny 2, and this year brings an exciting new twist to the long-running tradition. This year, Auntie Eva Levante has spent a little quality time with Uncle Rahool and they've traded some secrets. Now, Eva will offer Eerie Engram focusing known as Hocus Focusing so that players can get rolls on fan-favorite Festival of the Lost weapons and Exotic armor from the game ranging from its 2017 Vanilla release up through 2022's The Witch Queen expansion.
The most exciting part of all of this is that the Exotics that you focus with Eva can include those that you have previously not acquired, meaning that there's no need to grind hours and hours in lost sectors for those previous expansion drops on your secondary or tertiary characters. Let's dive into Eva's bag of tricks to see just how Hocus Focusing works.
How Hocus Focusing Works In Destiny 2 Festival Of The Lost
Hocus Focusing with Eva Levante will look familiar in many ways if you've previously participated in the event: players will use Candy, the FOTL currency that's been around for years now, and the new Eerie Engrams that drop from Haunted and Legend Haunted Sectors. This will allow you to either roll a FOTL weapon or an Exotic armor engram, one for each specific armor slot. Note that the Hocus Focusing will not allow you to specifically pick individual Exotic armor pieces, just chances at Exotics in each of the four armor slots. Here's a breakdown of each Eerie Engram and what it'll cost to roll each type:
Hocus Focusing Costs
Focusing Type:
- Exotic Arms
- 1 Eeerie Engram Cost
- 2500 Candy cost
- Exotic Legs
- 1 Eerie Engram Cost

As you can see, there are plenty of ways to focus your Eerie Engrams. It's important to know that if there are Exotics that you're hoping to roll, you must own the expansion that your desired Exotics hail from.
