Two weeks after the release of The Witch Queen, Destiny 2's biggest expansion to date, players are still uncovering secrets hidden deep in Savathun's Throne World.
Even if you finish the main campaign or take part in the Vow of the Disciple raid, the ultimate aspirational content offered by the Bungie action MMO, there's much more to uncover.
The Altar of Reflection is one of such things. Hidden inside Lost Sectors, these missions will let you see more of Savathun's forgotten memories, which hint at the future of Destiny 2.
It's time to take a look at everything you need to know about the Altar of Reflection Choice mission.
Where to start Altar of Reflection: Choice?
Login into Destiny 2, head over to the Throne World and a new marker will have shown up in the Miasma section. It'll direct you straight to the entrance of the Metamorphosis Lost Sector.
If you need a point of reference, this is the entrance to the Lost Sector.
Altar of Reflection: Choice - Light Puzzle
Move through the Lost Sector as you normally would, clear a couple of areas from enemies until you reach the one with a Deepsight spot available to use.
Once you use it, the by now familiar Savathun logo light puzzle should appear. Take a look at the image down below so you can see how to align it in order to get the portal to spawn.
Altar of Reflection: Choice - Cursed Puzzle
Inside the Altar, you'll be faced with the Cursed Puzzle one more time again. If you've done the previous Altar of Reflection missions it should be a walk in the park, but if this is your first time, allow me to explain.
Upon reaching the centre of the room, four runes with different shapes will show up. At the same time, projections will start appearing around the area. Simply go and step on the projections following the order of runes from left to right.
Do this a couple of times and a door will open, once you clear the room, you will gain access to another Savathun memory.
Altar of Reflection: Pact - Rune Patterns
If you try to run it a second time, which you should as completing it twice nets you Powerful Rewards, a new puzzle will block your way -- the Rune Patterns.
Take a look at the eight columns, five of them should look identical, with the same runes filling the same spots. Shoot the three odd ones to complete it.
Once you do this, the gate will be opened for you to kill the boss and collect Savathun's memory.
