Demonologist Gets Major Update With New Funeral Home Map

It's been a long wait since the last Demonologist update back in April, but the wait may be worth it for those ghost hunters hoping to try out something new. Demonologist Update 1.5.0 releases today, 27 September, and is chock-full fresh content. 

It not only includes the all-new Funeral Home map, but also offers substantial changes to ghost behaviour and many other performance improvements. These performance improvements will provide smoother gameplay and optimizations across the board, developers say.

Clock Wizard Games teased the new Funeral Home map last week in a Steam News post, promising that this upcoming update will introduce "an entirely new environment full of challenges and mysteries unlike anything you've experienced before."

The map's "fresh and immersive experience," Clock Wizard Games noted, is thanks to its atmosphere, mechanics, and unique surprises.

"We can't wait for you to dive into it," the team wrote. "[We believe] this exciting update will change the way you approach the game with new strategic dynamics and opportunities."
