Missing: Jamal is one of the twelve Lost & Found quests in Dead Island 2, which you unlock after reaching the Serling Hotel safehouse in Ocean Avenue. These quests work a bit differently than other Lost & Found quests in the game. Hence, here's our walkthrough of the Missing: Jamal Lost & Found quest in Dead Island 2.
Missing: Jamal Lost & Found quest walkthrough
After picking up the quest, fast-travel to Halperin Hotel. Follow the objective marker until you're told have to search for two security guard huts. You can find their locations in the screenshot below.
These security guard huts have maglocks, and if you haven't opened them before, here's what you must do. Firstly, destroy the security alarm over the entrance to prevent it from attracting hordes of zombies. Now, both huts have two circuit boards, destroying which will open the door.
You can find the first circuit board on the back or the side of the huts. The other one is inside, which you can destroy by throwing a weapon from the window. Or, if you have unlocked guns, you can shoot the circuit board using that.
Destroy both circuit boards to open up the security hut's door. Go inside and pick up the shiny note. Pick up notes in both huts to narrow down Jamal's truck's location. You can find its exact location in the screenshot below.
You will find Jamal here, alongside plenty of other zombies, including a Firestorm Slobber and a Crusher. Clear them out, and pick up Jamal's Crate key from his corpse. Unlock the stash from the back of Jamal's truck to get a Pistol. There's also the "Jamal's Ammo" stock on the truck, so pick up that as well. Doing so will complete the Lost & Found quest.
