In the horror game Dead by Daylight, the Shrine of Secrets is an in-game store where players can purchase perks using Iridescent Shards. When those perks are purchased, they are instantly unlocked on all killers or survivors; you won't need to spend any bloodpoints on your characters to get the perks you've purchased, saving you a ton in the long run. The Shrine refreshes each week on a Tuesday, with two new perks for survivors and two for killers. Now let's take a look at the Shrine for this week.
What Time Does DBD Shrine Of Secrets Reset?
The Shrine of Secrets used to refresh at the stroke of midnight every Wednesday. But in more recent months the Shrine of Secrets has reset on a Tuesday at 5 pm UTC.
The next shrine reset will take place on 10 September 2024. You can see on the countdown timer below how long you have before the next Shrine of Secrets goes live.
What Is The Dead By Daylight Shrine of Secrets This Week?
The Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets this week is:
- THWACK! - A unique perk belonging to The Skull Merchant
- Cruel Limits - A unique perk belonging to The Demogorgon
- Bond - A unique perk belonging to Dwight Fairfield
- Fast Track - A unique perk belonging to Yun-Jin Lee
Below is a closer look at the perks in the Shrine this week, and how they work.
THWACK!
Your prey is terrified by your relentless pursuit. After hooking a Survivor, this perk activates.
The next breakable wall or pallet you break will make Survivors within 28/30/32 meters scream and reveal their aura for 4 seconds.
Cruel Limits
Your ties to the otherworldly manifest when your prey attempts to get away.
Every time a generator is completed, all windows and vault locations are blocked for all Survivors for the next 20/25/30 seconds.
You see the aura of the vault locations blocked by Cruel Limits for the duration.
Bond
Unlocks potential in one's aura reading ability. Allies' auras are revealed to you when they are within a 20/28/36 meter range.
Fast Track
Sometimes the sacrifice of others is necessary to get ahead.
Whenever another Survivor is hooked, you gain 1/2/3 tokens. You consume all tokens after a great Skill Check on a generator. Each token consumed grants a 1% bonus progression for great Skill Checks when repairing generators.
How Much Does The Shrine Of Secrets Cost?
The perks available in the Shrine cost 2,000 Iridescent Shards for Tier 1, 4,000 Iridescent Shards at Tier 2, and 6,000 Iridescent Shards at Tier 3. Unlocking a perk at Tier 1 will unlock it for all survivors at perk tier 2, while unlocking a perk at Tier 2 will unlock perk tier 2, and so forth.
