The idea of Slenderman making his way into Dead by Daylight has been a topic of speculation for quite some time. With more and more licensed chapters being added to the game and one being scheduled for next March, some speculate that it could finally be the eerie, faceless Slenderman. Here's what we know about whether Slenderman could be joining Dead by Daylight, and what he might look like as a killer.

Is Slenderman Coming To Dead by Daylight?

Behaviour Interactive hasn't said anything about whether Slenderman could be coming to Dead by Daylight, but the team definitely seems open to collaborations, given the recent focused on licensed chapters and new additions like Castlevania's Dracula. Given that there's an upcoming licensed chapter in March 2025, it could very well feature a highly-requested character like Creepypasta's Slenderman.

However, while Slenderman is an iconic figure in horror and would definitely make sense to add to the game as a Killer for Chapter 35 - it's possible that legal hurdles could prevent his addition. As an internet-born figure, the rights to Slenderman are somewhat murky. Despite this, he's a very popular character in horror and would fit right in in the killer roster, so developers could very well find a way to work things out and have him added to the game.

Slenderman Dead by Daylight Chapter Concepts

Many fans have designed concepts of Slenderman as a killer in Dead by Daylight, utilizing his stealth and tendrils to create an interesting killer ability and fitting set of three perks. Some concepts have suggested that Survivors may also need to collect Pages, true to the killer's theme in his original source, Slender.

Slenderman's design would likely mostly remain true to his original Creepypasta form: a tall, faceless figure dressed in a black suit, with tendrils extending from his back.

While there is no official confirmation from Behaviour Interactive, the studio behind Dead by Daylight, the possibility of the eerie, faceless figure joining the game seems more plausible than ever. Dead by Daylight has consistently added characters from a wide range of horror genres over the past few years, from Halloween's Michael Myers to Ringu's Sadako. Slenderman's iconic yet unsettling presence could add a unique layer of terror to the game's already diverse roster of killers, and would finally bring the world of Creepypasta to the Fog.
