Amidst the slew of major announcements during Dead by Daylight's 7th anniversary live stream - including the introduction of Nicolas Cage as a survivor, Chapter 28: End Transmission, and more, developers gave fans a pretty promising answer on whether cross-progression is coming to the game.
"We're still ironing out some of the kinks for now. . . but it's still something we're very much interested in," the team explained during the live stream.
Dead by Daylight is available on many platforms - from the Xbox, PlayStation, Steam and even the Nintendo Switch - but cross-progression is not currently available, and understandably this is a feature that many fans have been requesting for quite some time.
Back in January, the team stated that they wanted to add cross-progression but that it is "not possible at the moment due to aspects beyond our control." Their recent announcement seems a lot more optimistic than the previous statement, for sure, meaning that it's likely the team has made some progress.
Behaviour asked that players wait to hear more information later this year on cross-progression, implying that some good news on the upcoming feature might be just over the horizon, even if it's not yet included in the Year 8 Roadmap.
