In a recent Twitter post, Behaviour Interactive revealed a series of chibi art featuring the killers from Dead by Daylight. The unique chibi art was used in a variety of different types of exclusive merchandise and was available for purchase on tote bags, badges, and more both online and at a Japanese amusement park called Namjatown.
If you missed out on this collab, don't worry - in this article, we'll explain to you everything you need to know about the adorable Dead by Daylight chibis released by Behaviour Interactive, and how you can get merchandise with your favorite killer's likeness on it.
Dead By Daylight Chibi Art
Behaviour Interactive posted the new chibi killer art on their official Twitter account in late January 2023, mentioning that the visuals were "created specifically for the Japanese theme park Namjatown."
Dead by Daylight collaborated with Namjatown to showcase the nine chibi killers on a variety of merchandise, including acrylic stands, can badges, name badges, and tote bags that could be purchased at the venue or online from 16th December 2022 to 23 January 2023.
The official Dead by Daylight chibi art includes the following killers:
- The Trapper
- The Wraith
- The Nurse
- The Doctor
- The Huntress
- The Spirit
- The Legion
- The Deathslinger
- The Trickster
Though Dead by Daylight is a horror game, this adorable chibi art definitely is not the first time developers have delved into a more "cute" look for their game. In fact, the Dead by Daylight dating simulator, Hooked On You, puts a tropical and fun-loving twist to the game, too. While the art style in Dead by Daylight's partner dating sim is a little different from the distinct chibi art featured at Namjatown, it's another example of the fact that Behaviour Interactive is not afraid to stray from horror traditions as it continues to defy genre expectations with Dead by Daylight.
