Disney Dreamlight Valley Update to Fix Multiple DLC Bugs

With the release of Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale, many players are diving back in to experience everything this DLC has brought to the game. From new character and quests to unique recipes and resources, there are a lot of areas where rollout could hit a roadblock. Fortunately, the team at Gameloft has already identified a few key issues. The next Disney Dreamlight Valley update already has a release date and details about what will be addressed.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Update to Fix Storybook Vale Bugs

While most reactions to The Storybook Vale hitting Disney Dreamlight Valley have been positive, some players are still facing frustrating bugs. After it dropped on November 20, players were already facing issues where a delay occurred in receiving Moonstones and items that were part of the Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale - Magical Edition bundle.

By the end of the day, Gameloft did deploy a hotfix to resolve this issue and suggested players restart their game for it to take effect. The issue may persist for a smaller group of players in addition to cosmetic rewards not delivering, but that will be one of the key fixes developers are addressing.

The next Disney Dreamlight Valley update is set to deploy on December 4, 2024, which was previously confirmed for an update at the showcase which revealed their next planned free update. The Sew Delightful update will also add Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, a floating islands feature, and 16-degree rotation for deocrations.

The following key issues are also targeted to get fixed in the December 4 update:

• Quest progression blockers for "Archery and Archrivals" including missing posters and Villager conversations not triggering. 
• Quest progression blockers for "The Company of the Wolf" where players cannot locate all buried items or dig spots spawning on surfaces that cannot be interacted with. 
• Items spawning in inaccessible locations, such as flowers in The Bind under the bridge. 
• Inkies that are removed not contributing to duties or achievements.

While release time can vary, that Disney Dreamlight Valley update will likely deploy early in the morning. The Night Show Star Path is also set to end in a few short days, and they'll likely deploy the next Star Path in the same update.
