With the conclusion of the Disney Parks themed event and the Summer 2024 content update due any day now, we've learned some of the bug fixes on deck for this Disney Dreamlight Valley update. Specific crashes players have been struggling with for some time are on the way, and some clothing items will hopefully get a major improvement in quality. The preview of patch notes for the next Disney Dreamlight Valley update also clarified when those additional reveals are coming.
Disney Dreamlight Valley update to address multiple existing bugs
Most players are keeping their eyes peeled for news on when Mulan (and potentially Mushu) could land in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but we've now got confirmation of specific fixes that'll also be arriving. In an update shared to the Disney Dreamlight Valley Discord, fixes for all of the following issues will soon be here:
- Optimizations to improve crash rates on all platforms
- Objects will no longer appear as invisible
- Daisy will share the time when you can start your next Boutique Challenge
- Players will be able to cook all recipes outdoors without risking a related freeze
- Resolutions for various dresses with clipping issues
- Various quest progression blocker resolutions
- Numerous other bug fixes & improvements
While a few parts of the list remain vague, there's good news here on several known issues. Disney Dreamlight Valley has been plagued by a few persistent crashes and freezes, some more prevalent on specific platforms, and there could finally be relief in that area.
The most exciting one for some will actually be the note that dresses are getting fixed. Clipping with clothing items is a regular problem for players who use one of the larger body type options, and this is especially true with dresses and skirts.
Players will have to wait and see the update in action to find out if they deliver with the adjustments, but it's good news that all these issues are being hard and Gameloft is working on them. Very little additional information was provided, but the post did state that "further news and timing" about the upcoming update will be coming next week.
