How to Unlock Gaston's Stall in Center of Attention for Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time introducing three new characters as a part of this initial paid DLC, and no one wants to be the Center of Attention like Gaston. While it's the first friendship quest for Gaston, finishing Center of Attention is also key to unlocking Gaston's Stall.

If you want access to some new cooking recipes on Eternity Isle, gaining access to Gaston's Stall will open up several unique options. We've got all the item locations and details you need below to complete Center of Attention in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Unlock Gaston's Stall in Disney Dreamlight Valley

If you want to score some Pork, Venison, or Poultry for cooking on Eternity Isle, you need to unlock Gaston's Stall in the Glittering Dunes. After you've finished The Wanderer of the Dunes and unlocked Gaston, your first friendship quest once he's hit Level 2 will be Center of Attention.

First, you need to use 4,000 Mist to unlock access to The Wastes and meet Gaston at his lodge. After he asks you to help clean up, use the shovel to dig up all five sand piles then approach the ruined portrait to correct it and move on to the next task.

Alexandrite, Jade, and Spinel Location

After cleaning up, you'll need to gather some specific gems to convince Scrooge McDuck to help open Gaston's Stall. If you haven't already gathered any of these, make sure to bring along a villager with the Mining role to help give you companion bonuses.

Alexandrite can be found at rock nodes in The Wastes and The Oasis, and you'll already at least have access to The Wastes for this quest. Jade will be in The Courtyard and The Overlook, the former of which will be unlocked early on.

Finally, you need Spinel which is found in The Promenade and The Grove, at least one of which you may have already opened while unlocking Rapunzel. Once you've collected all three gems, meet up with Scrooge McDuck.

Copper, Oasis Glass, and Tropical Wood Location

Scrooge McDuck will give you a Crate of Gastonian Furniture and Gaston's Antler Chair, but you need to gather some other materials to repair Gaston's lodge. On top of that, you need to gather Copper, Oasis Glass, and Tropical Wood.

Copper can be found by breaking copper rocks or mining rock nodes all throughout Eternity Isle. Tropical Wood will drop near trees in the Wild Tangle. Lastly, digging anywhere in the Glittering Dunes can find Oasis Glass. If you've upgraded your Royal Tools enough, you can also gather Oasis Glass by breaking Glass Stalagmites.

How to Find Freezer Fragments for Freezer of Infinite Meat

After you have those materials, bring them to Gaston and meet him at the lodge once again. Interacting with the Scrooge McDuck sign will repair his lodge, at which point you can enter and talk to Gaston. He'll hand off the blueprints for the Freezer of Infinite Meat, which is your next step to making Gaston's Stall accessible.

While some of the fragments you're finding for the Freezer of Infinite Meat are similar to other items found while timebending, these are unique to this quest. Head to The Grasslands and The Grove, and keep using the Hourglass to search for hidden treasure in these areas.

Having a timebending companion alongside you will also be helpful. While it isn't needed for these quest items, they can boost the Mist and other items you receive while searching for hidden treasure. Once you have all three fragments, put the Freezer of Infinite Meat together at a Timebending Table.

Finally, bring it to Gaston and interact with the Scrooge McDuck sign to open Gaston's Stall in the Glittering Dunes. Next up, it's time to actually use the new ingredients you've unlocked.

Meat-Based Meal (Good Ol' Fashioned Burger Recipe)

Gaston wants you to now cook some 2-Star or higher meat-based meals. That rules out Roast, which you'll get by cooking any protein by itself. There are a few dozen options, but the easiest to make is the Good Ol' Fashioned Burger.

Purchase some Venison from Gaston's Stall, and then head back to the Peaceful Meadow to gather some Wheat and Lettuce. Once you have it all together, use one Venison, one Wheat, and one Lettuce in the recipe to make a Good Ol' Fashioned Burger. After that, bring them all back to Gaston's lodge.

You need to mingle with and speak to Rapunzel, Scrooge McDuck, and Remy to wrap this quest up. We did run into a bug where Remy wasn't appearing at the party, but talking to Remy and asking him to hang out with you before returning to the lodge did allow the quest conversation to take place as needed. Return to Gaston once more, and this will complete Center of Attention.
