With the plethora of new content arriving in Disney Dreamlight Valley for the festive season, there's almost too much to do. From new quests and characters to unlock to festive duties and new recipes to enjoy. 

Excitingly, players will also be receiving festive fish in the game quite soon, and many players want to know how to get them and when they'll be available. So this guide will walk you through when and how to get all the festive fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley. 

Disney Dreamlight Valley: When Will festive Fish Be Available?

As it currently stands, festive fish won't be available in Disney Dreamlight Valley until the 18th of December. This information comes from various sources, such as Reddit user u/ValleyBilz on the DreamlightValley subreddit and others setting their in-game system time ahead and discovering the fish. 

Although you could do this as well, we would recommend waiting for the fish to become available. Messing with your in-game system time can cause other issues, such as resources not spawning or time-related quests breaking. 

How to Get All Festive Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are a total of five new festive fish that will be added to the game, and luckily, the in-game collection menu tells us where each of these new fish will spawn. So here's where you can catch every kind of Dreamlight Valley festive fish:

• The Festive Anglerfish can be caught by fishing at the Dazzle Beach biome.
• The Festive Bass can be caught by fishing at the Peaceful Meadow biome.
• The Festive Fugu can be caught by fishing at the Dazzle Beach biome
• The Festive Salmon can be caught by fishing at the Sunlit Plateau biome.
• The Festive Squid can be caught by fishing at the Glade of Trust biome.

Once the festive fish become available in the game, you'll need to head to specific areas mentioned above to catch each of them. And to spot them, you just need to keep an eye out for green and red bubbles that appear in the water. 

You catch them in their biome as you would any other fish, but u/ValleyBilz on the DreamlightValley subreddit also notes that festive fish cannot be sold, and you can only catch one of each type per day. After catching all five, you will also complete one of the festive duties, which rewards you with a festive-themed Santa Hat.
