Although Dave The Diver might look like a simple game on the surface, there is actually a lot of depth to the game. The game allows you to control Dave as you dive into a body of water called The Blue Hole. Your main mission is to catch a large variety of aquatic life to serve them as sushi in the sushi restaurant that you help manage.
Although that is going to be the main focus of the playthrough, there is still a bigger story in the game that is being told. On top of that, there are minigames and other systems that are in place in Dave The Diver to enhance the experience. That is why we are going to be talking about the roadmap for future updates of Dave The Diver.

Dave The Diver Roadmap
Although Dave The Diver is not a live service game, MINTROCKET has made it very clear that they want to continue supporting the game post-launch. What this means is that they are going to be focusing on two areas of how to improve the game: making new content and quality-of-life updates. These are going to be the main focus for MINTROCKET, at least for the time being.
Most recently, Dave The Diver had its QOL update. This update fixed a lot of bugs that came out with the game. On top of that, they added content that would make the game better for a broader audience. For example, they made mixed drinks that you make colorblind-friendly. These updates are often coming from community updates. The goal is to make bigger QOL updates rather than numerous smaller hot fixes which had been the case for a number of months.
New Content Is On The Way For Dave The Diver
One thing that was interesting to note is that MINTROCKET is working on making new content for Dave The Diver. From the sounds of it, these updates will be free rather than paid DLC. An example of this will be content that will make the final areas in Dave The Diver more exciting to explore. The details of what is coming have not been shared yet.
On top of that, the new content that is coming to Dave The Diver will be mostly coming from community recommendations and suggestions. So if there is something that you want to see happen in Dave The Diver, you might want to join in on the conversation that developers are paying attention to.
If you're wondering where we might have got our information above, it comes directly from the devs in their August Dev Interview, where they stated:
"Even though we are preparing new content, especially to make the later areas more fun to explore, our current focus of the August update is quality of life issues. We’re definitely listening to the community’s suggestions on the new content and actually started working on it, but since it will take some time to be delivered, we are going to provide the quality of life updates first."
