Worlds Collide As Dave The Diver Reveals Like A Dragon Crossover DLC

The Blue Hole has had its fair share of peculiar visitors over the two years following the release of Mintrocket's Dave the Diver. As Dave prepares to venture off into the jungle in a forthcoming expansion, we have seen some interesting visitors that rocked up to the shores, including Godzilla, Balatro, and the gang from Dredge, and now another familiar visitor will be arriving at the Blue Hole.

A new expansion for this management adventure game is rocking up to the Blue Hole for consoles and PCs this April, which marks another crossover collaboration for Dave the Diver. Fans of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series will want to stick around this sushi restaurant for a while long as its next visitor has arrived for a little holiday break!

Mintrocket announced during the recent PlayStation State of Play on 12th February 2025 that yet another DLC is making waves for Dave the Diver this year. It has been confirmed that Dave and his pals are embarking on a scorching new adventure for the In the Jungle DLC coming in late 2025, but before that, Kasuga Ichiban from the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series is stopping by the Blue Hole for some sushi and "a relaxing holiday."

But Ichiban won't be alone during his "relaxing holiday" as the "Survive Bar" bartender will tag along for this holiday break as their adventures unfold in the Ichiban’s Holiday DLC for Dave the Diver. According to the announcement trailer, Ichiban has decided "to take a well-deserved break at the Blue Hole and stumbles upon a dolphin-poaching syndicate, forcing Ichiban and Dave to dive into action."

Players can enjoy fantastic sushi, plenty of karaoke, some classic "beat’em up style infiltration," and more ass-kicking in this crossover DLC. While no release date has been confirmed yet, Dave the Diver: Ichiban’s Holiday DLC is releasing this April for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 consoles and PC via Steam.
