Can You Catch Marlins In Dave The Diver?

Yes, it is entirely possible for players to catch marlins in Dave the Diver. The problem is, you cannot catch it at the beginning of the game. You must reach at least Chapter 2 to catch marlins in Dave the Diver. Before Chapter 2, marlins will be completely unavailable for players to catch in the game.

In Chapter 2, you will eventually get a notification that the Marlin Party is happening. This is your indicator that marlins can now be found in The Blue Hole and you should take this time to catch one. Once the Marlin Party has started, you should be able to always catch marlins in Dave the Diver.

How To Find Marlins In Dave The Diver

Once you got the notification that the marlins have made their way to The Blue Hole, finding them is actually not too difficult. Marlins can be found within 0 to 50m of depth. So long as you are in the shallow depths, you should be able to find marlins. They're fairly rare but stay within this range and you will eventually find them.

What is important to note is that marlins are an aggressive species of fish. They will attack you on sight, and they're fast. Your harpoon will not lock into them if you use it, so you might want to use your guns to damage the marlin. Once you do enough damage to kill it, you can harvest the marlin for its meat and serve it as sushi.
