In Dave the Diver, players dive into the water multiple times a day to collect various creatures to make sushi with, while gathering whatever resource that you can find. This loop of diving into The Blue Hole and managing a sushi restaurant has resonated with a lot of different players.
To make the dives easier, you are going to be collecting a couple of different guns and other equipment that will assist you in the long run. But eventually, these weapons in their base form will prove to be too weak. To upgrade them, players will need to gether certain resources, including fish parts. One such part comes from a creature called the Pelican Eel. Here, we are going to go over how to find and catch the Pelican Eel in Dave the Diver.
How To Find The Pelican Eel In Dave The Diver
Finding the Pelican Eel will be important, especially if you want to upgrade your Net Gun. In Dave the Diver, you can upgrade your Net Gun into a Steel Net Gun by using Pelican Eel Skin. It's going to take a while before you can find Pelican Eels though — you will have to wait until Chapter 4 to do so.
That is because Pelican Eels are found in an area that becomes available much later in the game. You will need to go to The Glacial Passage to find Pelican Eels in Dave the Diver. If you do not have access to this area yet, you will have to wait to find Pelican Eels. Just progress through the story naturally and you will eventually find the Eels you need.
How To Catch Pelican Eels In Dave The Diver
The Pelican Eel is a tough and aggressive animal to deal with. It will try to swallow Dave up and will attack quite often. The Pelican Eel also has high health and can survive a couple of hits from a fully upgraded Harpoon Gun. So you will want to bring down its HP first by attacking it with guns.
Alternatively, you will probably want to simply put it to sleep or catch it with a net. Putting the Pelican Eel to sleep or catching it with a net is recommended because it is easier to do that than attack it. Plus, this will give you the most amount of meat and materials from the Pelican Eel. If you want to get your materials quickly, put them to sleep with or catch them in a net.
