There's nothing more devasting than suffering a 13-0 loss in competitive Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports, and few things more empowering for a team on the winning side. That's where paiN Gaming's 2-0 sweep finishing off proceedings with a 13-0 win on Dust2 against 9z comes in, and it was almost painful to watch if you are a 9z fan.
The Brazillian side took no prisoners at the American RMR, and to make the whole ordeal even sweeter for paiN Gaming fans is that the 13-0 win was the last map they needed to go 3-1 in the tournament and thereby qualify for a spot in the main event of the Perfect World Shanghai Major! The icing on the cake? Dust2 was the map pick of 9z...
Maybe they just wanted to finish the match so they could go play on Train?

paiN Gaming becomes the third team in the American RMR to secure a spot in the main event of the Shanghai Major, with Wildcard Gaming and MIBR already qualified with 3-0 scorelines. No one, so far, has qualified with a 13-0 map win, however, as this type of score is a rarity in top CS2 esports events.
What makes the 13-0 even more crazy is what happened in the final round. paiN Gaming was up 12-0 and, in the second half's pistol round, was on the back foot as the Terrorist side. However, their lurker Kaue "kauez" Kaschuk pulled off four kills and a clutch at the end to secure the clean 13-0 victory, which is absolutely insane. Check out the clip below and the celebration that followed.
