NAVI vs. FaZe Clan Map 1 (Inferno)
On FaZe Clan's map pick of Inferno, Finn "karrigan" Andersen's squad on the T side won the Pistol Round but failed to convert the 2nd, which resulted in NAVI going on a rampage early on, scoring five rounds in a row and giving themselves a 5-1 advantage. NAVI's Romanian Entry Fragger, Mihai "iM" Ivan, even scored four kills in the 5th round.
FaZe Clan then scored three rounds in a row thanks to a solid execute play in the 7th, and then NAVI responded with a three-round streak of their own to secure an 8-4 lead on Inferno.
As teams switched sides, NAVI got the Pistol Round and converted against FaZe Clan's CT side, giving themselves a huge 10-4 lead and leaving FaZe Clan with little hope. However, with Helvijs "broky" Saukants using his BIg Green to great effect, FaZe Clan started to slowly claw their way back and chipped away at NAVI's economy.
Finn "karrigan" Andersen's men mounted a huge comeback, scoring nine rounds in a row (including four defuses), to shock NAVI and win Inferno 13-10.
NAVI vs. FaZe Clan Map 2 (Ancient)
On NAVI's map pick of Ancient, things didn't start out as planned for Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen and company, as FaZe Clan took the Pistol Round on the CT side and ran with it, winning three rounds in a row.
While NAVI did retaliate in the 4th, FaZe Clan quickly bounced back to win the 5th and 6th rounds, giving themselves a solid 5-1 lead early on. With some big brain plays, Aleksib pulled NAVI back from the brink to provide them with hope, scoring three bomb plants and round wins in a row before FaZe again responded with three of their own. When the dust settled on the first half of Ancient, FaZe Clan was 8-4 ahead.
As teams switched sides, FaZe Clan found the Pistol Round and a conversion on their T side, and it all seemed lost. NAVI, however, made an absolutely huge comeback, winning eight rounds in a row to put themselves on map point. FaZe Clan pulled one back in the 23rd, and then, as you can see from the clip above, NAVI's Ukrainian AWPer, Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov, pulled off a beautiful 2v1 clutch to avoid overtime and forced a third and deciding map.
NAVI vs. FaZe Clan Map 3 ( Anubis)
When NAVI reached the third and final map, Anubis, many fans knew a victory was in sight, as it is one of their strongest maps. NAVI didn't disappoint, winning the Pistol and then going on a huge streak on the T side in the first half with an insurmountable 10-2 lead.
As the teams switched sides, NAVI's momentum saw them win the Pistol and the next two rounds to quickly shut down FaZe Clan with a devastating 13-2 win on Anubis, and thereby, the series 2-1.
With the reverse sweep complete, NAVI earns a spot in the Grand Final of BLAST Fall Final 2024, while FaZe Clan is sent packing in a respectable 3rd/4th place.
